2/18/10 Skylar wanted to show everyone that he is as handsome as ever even if he only has one eye. Skylar's personality is really able to shine now that he is no longer in pain and he is healing. Please consider a donation to his medical care. Skylar is a beautiful blue point neutered male Siamese who has been suffering with an eye injury from another cat. His previous owners did not take Skylar to get any medical treatment and he has been in pain for months until Purrs Abound rescued him from a shelter. Sadly, he had surgery 1/27/10 but his eye could not be saved and had to be removed. Please consider a donation toward his veterinary care. Skylar will get along fine with just one eye and will be hoping someone will choose him to be their companion and he will repay with unconditional love and purrs. Donate using the PayPal button

Working With You Toward Forever Homes
Purrs Abound has many fantastic adult Siamese and Siamese mix cats who need to find their forever homes. These are kitties who have been with Purrs for many months or longer awaiting their forever family. They may have a health issue or simply be less attractive due to their age. While they are doing great with their foster families, let's face it...there is nothing like a forever home of their own. Purrs Abound also recognizes that the economy is bad and that many of you are able to provide ongoing care for a cat but may not be able to pay our normal adoption fees. Therefore, for the months of February and March many of our adult foster cats will be available to approved adopters for a reduced adoption fee. This does not apply to kittens or cats marked as pure bred. Please contact us at adoption@purrsabound.com for details.
Purrs Abound has no facility. All of our cats and kittens live with loving foster families throughout Michigan and Ohio while they wait for their forever homes. Our Rochester, MI address is our mailing address only. Any cat or kitten with Ohio by their name is fostering in Ohio. All others live with foster families in Michigan.
