Paris
Paris came to us from a hoarder situation with 6 one week old babies. She was the best mom and loved her babies. She struggled with renal failure and lost her battle today and has crossed the bridge. She will be sadly missed.

Snooper
Snoop was dumped by his owners at a shelter and Purrs Abound brought him into our foster program. Sadly, Snoop had a severe heart murmur and was so stressed by all that he endured his health began to fail. Everything possible was done to save Snoop and after a 3 week long battle Snoop crossed the bridge and is now running free with his kitty friends and suffering no more. We are very sad at the loss of Snoop he was a great kitty.

Sabrina
Sabrina came to Purrs Abound in October 2006. She had been diagnosed with kidney insufficiency which made her unattractive to her owner. Sadly, for her, it also made her unattractive to adopters. Up until early April 2011, Sabrina tolerated her kidney disease well. She lived a very happy life with the Founding Director of Purrs Abound and was always ready to play in her "sassy" way. Unfortunately, Sabrina passed away on 04/22/2011 due to kidney failure. Her absence is felt deeply at her Foster Mom's house. She was a good little girl and will be missed.

Sassy
Sassy was the second Siamese to live with the Founder of Purrs Abound and she is one of the reasons that Purrs Abound was established. She lived up to her name, especially as a kitten. But being "sassy" is what got her through life. She was horribly ill as a kitten and suffered with the herpes virus her entire life. She still had spunk. Stomach surgery when she was 5 months old left her unable to jump very high, so, in her younger days, she was even permitted to climb a small tree with the help of her Mom and Dad in a fenced yard. Sass was definitely the Alpha Kitty at the Holefca household. While she never growled, hissed or swatted another cat..resident or foster, they simply KNEW that Sassy was the Matriarch and they respected her until the end. She was born on 07/25/1994 and crossed The Bridge on 07/27/2009 to join the many other Holefca resident companions who went to The Bridge before her. The Sass Lady made a mark in my life and left a hole in my heart...

Towd
Towd was born in Seattle, WA in Aug 1991 and shared his life with Jan, who also adopted another kitty, Nicki, from Purrs Abound. Towd crossed The Rainbow Bridge in September 2009 and Jan has written the following tribute to her beloved companion: He lived in the Seattle area until Aug 2002 when his mommy decided to move back to Canada with the other kitties. During his lifetime, he shared his Mom with three other kitties, Missy, Roo Roo and Princess Nicki. Towd had a rough life, being diagnosed with Arthritis when he was just over age 6 and then the bad one, Chronic Renal Failure, at age 10. Being the valiant kitty that he was, Towd lived for 8 more years and had his 18th birthday in Aug of 2009. On September 15, 2009 about 3:00 in the morning, Towd was too tired to continue fighting the battle. My son and I prayed over Towd and laid a Cross on him and told him that he could go home and cross the Rainbow Bridge to be with others and be with God. So, sadly, Towd left us behind. Even though we cry, we know Towd is no longer in pain. I love you Towd. You were my very best friend and gave me the very best years in my life. You hugged me like no other cat has ever done. You loved me when no one else did. Towd, thank you for loving me. I am so lonely without you. God Bless. Love you Papa Towd Your Forever Mom
