7/17/09 Amara is a German Shepherd mix puppy that has had a fractured rear leg. She was at the shelter and was considered unadoptable so Purrs Abound stepped up and took this puppy into our care. Amara has a fractured Tibia that was surgically repaired and she has a steel pin that will remain permanately in her leg. She can run and play and is fully recovered. She should not require any further care and longterm she should have a normal palyful life possibly some arthritis as she ages. Amara is your typical puppy full of energy and is very smart. She runs and plays so don't let this stop you from considering her. Amara is about 6 -7 months old and will not be placed in homes with children under 7years. Amara's adoption donation is $350. Amara is spayed, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. If you can't adopt please consider a donation toward her care.
