Update: 2/20/2009 Yea!! I have a family...almost! My adoption is pending but if you could still help with some of my costs, it would really be wonderful. The Purrs Abound people have spent a lot on me and, even though I am worth EVERY penny, it would be great if they could receive some donations toward my care. Thanks for considering me.

I WAS SHOT AND SURVIVED!!

1/16/09 My name is Annie and I don't know what I did wrong but I was shot in the front leg with a .22 caliber bullet. It put a hole straight through my bone but the wonderful staff of the Oxford Veterinary Hospital and Purrs Abound Siamese Rescue agreed that I deserved a chance to live. Surgery has been performed and my bone is healing well. My care is expensive, though, and it would be really great if you could send even a few dollars to help. Don't you agree that I'm worth it?

From the Director: Annie has proven to be an amazing cat. Despite the pain she's experienced, she is friendly and playful. She will co-exist with other cats and dogs but will also be fine in a home with just her humans. Please consider sending even a small donation so that we can continue providing Annie with the veterinary support that she will need for the next few weeks.
