UPDATE 3/18/08 We have added new pictures of Hero and he is 13 wks old today.Please consider a donation to help continue providing care for this guy. He is growing and doing very well. We will find out in the next couple weeks when the veterinarian feels he will be ready to be adopted. The Specialist has given Hero a prognosis of a complete recovery with possible recurrent episodes as he goes through growth phases. He is a normal happy healthy puppy and will grow into a normal adult dog with no residual effects. Due to what this little guy has been through we are limiting his adoption area to within one hour of Sanduksy,Ohio where he is being fostered.If interested in being considered to adopt Hero please email PurrPaws53@aol.com and request an application.

I am Little Hero please help me! 2/9/08 . My foster mommy named me that because I am so brave even after all I have been through and I am just a baby. I was living in a filthy dirty cold barn all alone. I had a problem with my front legs and couldn't stand or walk on them but nobody cared. Purrs Abound Rescued me even though I am not a Siamese kitty when they heard about my plight and now I am safe and warm and loved. I have an appointment with an orthopedic specialist to get the help I need to be able to walk again so please help me by sending a donation towards my medical care.
