9/12/14 Meet Tara a beautiful solid black Ragdoll mixed kitten. Yes, there are black ragdolls but they can't be shown. She arrived with her sister Izzy and is approximately 6 weeks old. She has a gentle sweet personality. Tara had a healthy vet exam tested negative for FELV/FIV, started on vaccines and wormed. Tara will NOT be available to leave the rescue for another 6-8 weeks. Her adoption fee is $150. KITTEN POLICY,

Kittens under 6 Months of Age must be adopted with a littermate. Exceptions are only made if the adopter has another kitten OR has a companion cat in the home of the adopter to act as a playmate.

NO kittens under 6 Months of Age will be adopted to a home with children under the age of 5 or to a home with a dog unless the dog has been previously exposed to cats and proven to be cat-friendly.

Purrs Abound reserves the right to review each adoption on a case by case basis AND reserves the right to deny any applicant without explanation.
