Crystal
Crystal came to Purrs Abound in the Spring of 2005. Because she suffered from numerous health ailments, she became a permanent resident of Purrs Abound and found a wonderful home with her foster family, Bill, Laurie & William. She lived like the Queen she believed she was and will be sorely missed by her family. Crystal crossed The Rainbow Bridge in late July 2009. Purrs Abound wants to thank her foster family for the love and compassion they gave to Crystal. Without people like them, so many of these great seniors would not have the golden years that they deserve.

Maxwell
Maxwell was one of those "once in a lifetime" companions and was another BIG reasons that Purrs Abound Siamese Rescue was founded. Maxwell was an integral part of the Holefca Household, owning the hearts of Purrs Abound's Founder and her husband for 14 years. He fought a valiant battle against kidney failure for 3 years and 2 months as well as stomatis and a stubborn candida fungus infection. Seeing the struggles he battled with his mouth has made me a true believer in having yearly dental exams completed on ALL cats. Max was the bravest, most tolerant and loving Siamese who has crossed the path of Purrs' Founder. To say that Max will be greatly missed would be a huge understatement. A bigger heart a cat has never had. 11-15-1994 to 03-06-2009

Kazuhiko
Kazuhiko was one of those little Angels who is sent to bless our lives even though they are with us briefly. He lived only about 16 weeks but in that short period of time, touched the heart of the young woman who found him outside a pet store in the cold. No matter how long they are with us, each companion touches us deeply. Kazuhiko will never be forgotten and Purrs Abound feels blessed that we were able to be a small part of Kazuhiko's life. 10/16/2008 to 01/29/2009

Bucky
Bucky was a senior when he came to us. We didn't know how old he was and he wasn't talking. He just knew that, while his former Mom loved him very much, he wasn't happy in their home and he was thrilled at his new home. Bucky had a number of health problems but his new Foster Mom and Dad, Judy and Sam, were more than happy to include him in their home. Bucky struggled during his last year and finally gave up the fight in November 2008. He was one of those "once in a lifetime" cats who come to us. He had spirit, zeal and was a trooper to the end. Purrs Abound is proud to have been able to help Bucky and want to thank Sam and Judy for the love and compassion they extended to this VERY special boy.
